Horse riding at Spielmann's horse farm

Our riding trips into the beautiful surroundings of the Vogelsberg area in Hesse make the riding holidays a really special experience. You should be saddle-fast for our forest rides, as you might sit on your saddle for approximately 6 hours - depending on your stamina - while riding through beautiful Hesse.

For all other tours beginners are welcome, too.

Riding along the natural protected lake Nieder-Moos

We offer with our hiking rides:

- guided rides for one hour through wonderufl Vogelsberg.

- Day trips on the horse through the Hessian Vogelsberg from the morning hours to dawn, including picinic for lunch.

Riding across Volgesberg meadows

Riding through the Hessian forest

- Multi-day rides between Vogelsberg and Rhoen. This is to experience the nature.

- Accommodation for the multi-day rides is offered  in tents or on farms / guest houses.

Overnight stays in a horse farm barn

- Bringing your own horse is possible after consultation.

Example 1:

* Ride onto Hoherodskopf

from Ober-Moos via Bermutshain to Herchenhainer Hoehe on Hoherodskopf. After a beautiful round view from the peak the ride continues downhill through woods, meadows and headwaters back to Ober-Moos. Rest stop on Hoherodskopf or barbeque dinner at our farm.

Example 2:

* Ride through Muehlental

from Ober-Moos past the seven ancient mills towards Nieder-Moos via Gunzenauer Horst, Stollmuehle, Reinhards and Hintersteinau and back to Ober-Moos. Rest stops at Stollmuehle or barbeque dinner at our farm.
